Sonny Bazbaz is President and Founder of Bazbaz Development, where he is responsible for directing and overseeing all aspects of property development from project conception and acquisition to design and construction. Sonny has extensive knowledge across multiple facets of real estate development, with project experience ranging from international industrial parks, boutique luxury residential projects, large-scale new construction hospitality, to one of the largest mixed-use urban master plan developments in the world.
Prior to forming Bazbaz Development, Sonny was a partner and development executive at Madden Real Estate Ventures, where he led a team that managed the evaluation, restructuring, and development strategy for The Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino, a $4.5 billion mixed-use gaming, hospitality, residential, retail project in Las Vegas. During his tenure at Madden, Bazbaz served as development manager for 515 East 72nd Street, a 400-unit luxury condominium conversion in Manhattan, where his responsibilities included day-to-day management of design, construction, and marketing. Mr. Bazabaz also served as development management consultant on 184 Kent Avenue, a $250 million luxury residential rental conversion of a 500,000 square foot industrial warehouse building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Prior to forming Madden Real Estate Ventures, Sonny Bazbaz was Senior Vice President at Fisher Brothers, where he directed the acquisition, design, and entitlements for Project New Vegas, a $14 billion mixed-use master plan in Las Vegas. Sonny is a graduate of the MBA program at New York University Stern School of Business, and has lived in Tribeca / SoHo since moving to New York City in 2004.
Max Bresner is Development Manager for Bazbaz Development where he is responsible for overseeing development and construction for mixed-use residential projects in New York City. His duties also include acquisition analysis, financial forecasting and modeling, project scheduling and budgeting.
He started his real estate career at White Acre Equities in New York as an Associate in their Acquisitions, Development and Asset Management group. He then moved to Commercial Realty Resolutions / Gemini Real Estate Advisors as an Associate working with senior executives to develop real estate asset plans for lenders and developers with troubled properties and or non-performing loans.
Max is a graduate of the University of Denver’s Daniels School of Business where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration, Real Estate Finance. He is a resident of New York City.
Bryan Kelly is Development Manager for Bazbaz Development where his responsibilities include management of all aspects of planning, permitting, architecture and design, sales and marketing for residential mixed-use projects in New York City.
Prior to joining Bazbaz Development, he was Director of Real Estate Development for Lettire Development and Lettire Construction where he directed and supervised a team of development associates and third-party consultants on new residential development sites. He aslo developed and implemented management sytems and performance metrics for that company’s development department including project timeline, budget tracking and cost reports.
Earlier, he worked as Project Manager for Atlantic Development Group where he oversaw acquisition, design, approvals and closed on nearly $200,000,000 in financing for four new affordable housing and/or mixed-use development projects. He also worked as Originations Manager for First Sterling Financial’s Real Estate Investment Group and as a Private Banker for Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client Group.
Bryan earned a M.A. in Economics from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. He lives in Manhattan.
