Sonny Bazbaz is President and Founder of Bazbaz Development, where he is responsible for directing and overseeing all aspects of property development from project conception and acquisition to design and construction. Sonny has extensive knowledge across multiple facets of real estate development, with project experience ranging from international industrial parks, boutique luxury residential projects, large-scale new construction hospitality, to one of the largest mixed-use urban master plan developments in the world.
Prior to forming Bazbaz Development, Sonny was a partner and development executive at Madden Real Estate Ventures, where he led a team that managed the evaluation, restructuring, and development strategy for The Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino, a $4.5 billion mixed-use gaming, hospitality, residential, retail project in Las Vegas. During his tenure at Madden, Bazbaz served as development manager for 515 East 72nd Street, a 400-unit luxury condominium conversion in Manhattan, where his responsibilities included day-to-day management of design, construction, and marketing. Mr. Bazbaz also served as development management consultant on 184 Kent Avenue, a $250 million luxury residential rental conversion of a 500,000 square foot industrial warehouse building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Prior to forming Madden Real Estate Ventures, Sonny Bazbaz was Senior Vice President at Fisher Brothers, where he directed the acquisition, design, and entitlements for Project New Vegas, a $14 billion mixed-use master plan in Las Vegas. Sonny is a graduate of the MBA program at New York University Stern School of Business, and has lived in Tribeca / SoHo since moving to New York City in 2004.
Albert Price is a Principal with Bazbaz Development, where he is responsible for directing and overseeing all aspects of Bazbaz Development projects in Miami, FL. For more than 23-years, Albert has worked on real estate projects and assignments across the United States and abroad. He has extensive expertise in the areas of development, transactions, finance, marketing, design, master planning, brokerage and restructuring. Albert has also worked extensively with operating businesses and has overseen the operation of restaurants, hotels and nightlife venues.
Prior to joining Bazbaz in 2013, Albert spent 2-years with Blesso Properties in the role of President & COO, where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's real estate development activities and its investments in several operating businesses, including a boutique hotel/restaurant/roof bar in Panama, a shared workspace in Brooklyn, a hotel/entertainment complex in the Fire Island Pines and a residential condominium project in West Chelsea. Prior to Blesso, Albert was a Partner with Tony Goldman of Goldman Properties. From 2000 though 2011, Albert oversaw the development of numerous Goldman projects, most notably 101-103 Greene Street, 107-109-111 Greene Street and 25 Bond Street in New York City. Outside of New York, Albert was responsible for master planning and redeveloping a 17-building, 1.2 million square foot project in Boston's Fort Point Channel neighborhood and spent a short time consulting on master planning/zoning for Miami World Center in Miami, FL.
Prior to entering the development side of the business, Albert spent 10-years working in real estate finance, workouts and consulting with Capital Trust, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, The Yarmouth Group and Frank Russell Company.
Albert was a Division I All-American swimmer at Princeton University Class of 1990, and holds a degree in Politics.
Bryan Kelly is Development Manager for Bazbaz Development where his responsibilities include management of all aspects of planning, permitting, architecture and design, sales and marketing for residential mixed-use projects in New York City.
Prior to joining Bazbaz Development, he was Director of Real Estate Development for Lettire Development and Lettire Construction where he directed and supervised a team of development associates and third-party consultants on new residential development sites. He aslo developed and implemented management sytems and performance metrics for that company’s development department including project timeline, budget tracking and cost reports.
Earlier, he worked as Project Manager for Atlantic Development Group where he oversaw acquisition, design, approvals and closed on nearly $200,000,000 in financing for four new affordable housing and/or mixed-use development projects. He also worked as Originations Manager for First Sterling Financial’s Real Estate Investment Group and as a Private Banker for Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client Group.
Bryan earned a M.A. in Economics from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. He lives in Manhattan.
Charlo Jenkins is a Project manager for Bazbaz Development where his responsibilities include overseeing construction, coordinating architects, engineers, design consultants, contractors, construction managers, the bank requisition process and any other professionals or tasks that may be necessary to complete the construction of projects in Miami.
Prior to joining Bazbaz Development, he was a Senior Investment Analyst for Advenir where he sourced, screened and underwrote the acquisition of over 4,200 multifamily units worth more than $550 million. He also developed new financial underwriting models, analyzed potential new markets and contributed to the due diligence process for new acquisitions.
Prior to Advenir, he worked as a Project Manager for Smoot Construction working on lump sum and construction management projects. There he managed the procurement process with multiple contractors and subcontractors, coordinated weekly construction progress and owners meetings, prepared and distributed meeting minutes and reviewed schedule of values to authorize monthly billing statements.
Prior to entering Real Estate he also served in the U.S. Navy as a Second Class Petty Officer where he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for leadership and training during operation Enduring Freedom.
Charlo earned a M.S. in Real Estate Development and Urbanism from the University of Miami’s School of Architecture. He enjoys traveling and conquering new foodie adventures.
Alan B Bazbaz is an Associate at Bazbaz Development, where he is responsible for project management, management of the office, human resources, information technology, and various other aspects of day-to-day operations.
Alan has experience in management, strategic planning, negotiation and entrepreneurship. Growing up immersed in a family business environment, Alan spent his early years on the factory floor of a plastic packaging manufacturing plant in Houston, Texas, where he was responsible for recording the labor time of machinery operators, performing key maintenance processes on rollers used for printing ink to plastic. While working closely with experienced managers and employees from many different departments within the company, Alan gained valuable insight into the overall manufacturing operations.
Alan graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2013 with a degree in Business Administration from Lynn University in Boca Raton Florida, where he received honors as a member of Sigma Beta Delta: International Business Honors Society. Alan is fluent in Spanish, enjoys the outdoors, engaging in motorsports and international travel, having visited 12 countries in the past 7 years.
