Miles is responsible for the financial and development analysis of Bazbaz acquisitions and existing projects. For more than 6 years, Miles has worked on real estate projects ranging from large scale developments such as Essex Crossing in New York City to small scale multifamily recapitalizations throughout the mid-Atlantic and sunbelt states.
Prior to joining Bazbaz in 2020, Miles received his M.S. in Real Estate from New York University, concentrating in Finance and Investment.
Before graduate school, Miles worked at QuallsBenson, a real estate advertising and marketing firm. At QuallsBenson, Miles built and implemented an analytics program using SQL and Excel to directly link marketing & advertising efforts to third-party leasing teams. He also successfully pitched new business opportunities to Douglas Elliman, SL Green, L+M Development, Brookfield Property Partners, RXR and BoldNY.
Prior to QuallsBenson, Miles was an Associate at Estreich & Company. From 2014 to 2016, Miles arranged debt and equity for the firm’s clients, notably A&E Real Estate, Sterling Equities, and Argosy Real Estate Partners. During his time at Estreich & Company he directly assisted in placing over $900MM in real estate debt and equity across a variety of asset types.
Miles is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council, the Manhattan chapter of the Urban Land Institute, and the Mortgage Brokers Association of New York. He also supports organizations such as the Manhattan Institute & the Hoover Institution at Stanford.
